The eighth Prime Minister of the nation will be Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar, a Quetta native who was born in the Balochistan region of Muslim Bagh in 1971. Anwar Haq Kakar attended Saint Francis High School in Quetta for his elementary education before enrolling at Cadet College in Kohat. However, after his father passed away, he returned to Quetta. Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar attended the University of Balochistan in London for his graduate studies in political science and sociology.


Anwarul Haq Kakar began his career as a teacher in the institution where he was raised. Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar ran for the National Assembly in 2008 under the (Q) League Katkat Perkwita ticket, however he was unsuccessful. In 2013, Senator Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar served as the government of Balochistan's spokesperson and was instrumental in the creation of the Balochistan Awami Party. Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, a senator elected in 2018 and a member of the Balochistan Awami Party, is the head of the Senate Standing Committee of Overseas Pakistanis.
